Get the names and addresses of the drivers/owners of the vehicles involved. Be sure to include drivers and passengers.

Record the license plate numbers of the vehicles involved.

Call the police to investigate and obtain a report.

Write down anything that may have contributed to the accident.

Take Photographs of the scene, your vehicle, the other party's vehicle as well as any injuries or abrasions you have sustained.
